Core values are a set of fundamental beliefs, ideas, or practice that informs how you conduct your life.

TRUST IN GOD

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

                                                                                                 Proverbs 3:5, 6

Whatever trust in his own is a fool, but he walks in wisdom will be delivered. God shall supply all our needs according to His richness in glory by Jesus.

HARD WORK

Working hard with focus and desire is the key to getting ahead. Faculty at Santom spent time working on student craft and improve in skill and realize that repetition is the key to hard work. We believe that no matter what the students want to do, they have to be in the `arena`. The faculty follows the formula of the great.

DISCIPLINE

The teachers at Santom be actively encouraged and expected to pursue training of students to obey rules or code of behaviour. The aim of discipline is to set limits restricting certain behaviours or attitude that are seen harmful or against school policies, educational norms, school traditions etc. Discipline teaches a child to follow rules, boundaries and limits to achieve personal and academic life goals.

ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

Our focus will be on increasing the level of responsibility and accountability. This is both for teachers and students. Accountability is the obligation created by accepting duties and responsibilities. In ethics and governance accountability is answerability, blame, worthiness, liability and expectation of account given only after a task is done or not done. Responsibility is an obligation to perform certain tasks functions or assignments given to before and or after a task. Our teachers are held responsible for successfully completing the task and will have to at least explain why they failed to do so.

PERSEVERANCE

To continue to improve teaching , we will ensure that perseverance is important character trait to everybody, i.e; don't give up or don't give in. We understand that everyone fails at one point or another, but we have to respond and have to rise to the occasion with determination at working hard regardless of any odds or obstacles that may exist. We believe that persistence and perseverance are ingredients that happy and successful person put into practice.

HONESTY

Our faculty teach in innovative ways to engage and educate all students that foster a spirit of honesty. We are aware of the fact that honesty should be the bed rock of students' foundation.  Honesty promotes openness, empowers and enables to develop consistency in how to present the facts. Honesty sharpens the perceptions and allows observing everything around with clarity.

EXCELLENCE

Excellence is a set of values and outcome that students strive to achieve. The faculty at Santom should be actively encouraged and expected to pursue excellence in teaching through diverse paths to achieve this goal. We offer the best quality of education giving every child, the opportunities to realize their full potential so they may excel in the field of their choosing. We seek to foster a bold and innovative spirit in  teaching faculty, identify new ways to reach even higher standard of excellence in  teaching endeavour .The quality of teachers are the back bone of this great school. Our students learn in different ways increasingly relying on and leveraging technology.  Our students will pursue knowledge and develop intellectual curiosity, acquire a lifelong love of learning and discover how to learn independently by giving of one`s time and talents.

To promote excellence in teaching, we will emphasize teaching performance in merit evaluation, formative student evaluation of teaching and reward excellence in teaching. Moreover we also suggest to strengthen opportunities at our school for teaching and learning and to train all new and underperforming faculty.
